What is Baijiu?
Baijiu – considered the national drink of China – is a Chinese distilled alcoholic beverage. The name baijiu literally means “white liquor.”
In China, alcohol is also called the “Water of History” because stories of liquor can be traced back to over 4,000 years. Vinn Baijiu recipe has been in our family for well over 7 generations. In ancient China, since alcohol was regarded as a sacred liquid, people made sacrificial offerings to Heaven and the Earth or to the ancestors. Today, our family still uses baijiu to honor our ancestors during every holiday and every special family occasion.
How to drink Baijiu
Baijiu is normally served at room temperature or warm in a small ceramic bottle, then poured into a small cup or shot glass. Baijiu is traditionally consumed together with food rather than drunk on its own. Vinn Baijiu is always at the center of our dinner table.
